About Shireen…
Shireen is an LA-based, Black and Middle Eastern actor. She received her BFA in Acting from California Institute of the Arts in 2024. At the school, she received training in various forms of performance such as classical, contemporary, Shakespearean, movement-based, and more. Aside from CalArts, she has also worked with the La Jolla Playhouse, Kingsmen Shakespeare Company, and the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble.
Despite her years training as an actor, she also was a competitive baton twirler for 10 years and even went as far as twirling fire baton (which she absolutely has to include because it is by far the coolest fact about herself). She is also a proficient singer and guitarist.
In her personal life, Shireen’s favorite hobby is playing video games. She adores worlds filled with fantasy and magic, and she loves when the media she’s into aligns with the art she is performing. Her favorite stories and characters are her biggest artistic inspirations.
Her favorite series of all time is The Legend of Zelda. Talk to her about it if you love it too. ;)
